Here's how one newpaper recorded the career of Theodore Roosevelt. The Verdict, one of a number of newspapers with an openly political bias ran a political cartoon in each issue. Like Puck and Judge two publications well known for their respective Democratic and Republican views, The Verdict had a political agenda.
