Theodore Roosevelt Association Celebrates National Teddy Bear Day
September 9, 2015, Oyster Bay, New York – The Theodore Roosevelt Association is thrilled today to observe National Teddy Bear Day, a celebration of the iconic children’s toy, named in honor of President Theodore Roosevelt. Teddy Bears have been bringing joy to young ones around the world for more than 100 years.
The Theodore Roosevelt Association is proud to offer U.S.A. Teddy Bears at our online store, made in the U.S.A. and sporting a Theodore Roosevelt “Rough Rider” blue and white bandana. These bears make great gifts for holidays, birthdays, or any occasion.
They can also be purchased and donated to the Theodore Roosevelt Association in support of our Teddy Bears for Kids program. Since 1986, Teddy Bears for Kids has given more than 80,000 bears to hospitalized children across the United States.
The Theodore Roosevelt Association is a congressionally chartered non-profit historical and public service organization dedicated to perpetuating the memory and ideals of Theodore Roosevelt. More information about the Theodore Roosevelt Association and Teddy Bears for Kids is available online.
The Theodore Roosevelt Association thanks you for your support and wishes you a very happy National Teddy Bear Day!
