We have planned a 6-night, 7-day custom TR tour that spans South Dakota, Wyoming and North Dakota known as TR's Dakota Territory! We will visit sites established by Roosevelt (Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, Devils Tower), as well as places he visited (Deadwood, Edgemont, Medora) and places dedicated to him (Mt. Rushmore, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Mt. Roosevelt, TR statues, TR Center). The tour also includes two of his home sites: Maltese Cross Ranch site and original cabin, and the Elkhorn Ranch and Ranchlands.
Past superintendent of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Valerie Naylor, along with retired professor, Dr. Cindi Penor Ceglian, and former naval officer and historic preservationist, Rebecca Rickey, will lead the tour and share their expert knowledge of TR and the areas you are exploring.
