TRA Membership Information
Join the TRA today and receive the Association’s scholarly Theodore Roosevelt Journal and invitations to all TRA events, support the TRA’s many great works such as the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) scholarship program for sailors' dependents and the Homeward Bound for the Holidays Programs, the Theodore Roosevelt® Police Awards for disabled officers, the Teddy Bears for Kids Program for hospitalized children, awards to outstanding military members, the Theodore Roosevelt® Public Speaking Contest, and other programs.
National War College Policies
Due to military base restrictions, REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2020. All registrants will need to complete mandatory documentation to enter bases, unless registrant has a valid military ID.
Documentation form will be sent to Registrants in advance of event.
All registrations and Military Base Documentation MUST be submitted no later than September 15th.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund of the registration fee will be provided for cancellations received on or before October 1, 2020.
Cancellations after October 1 will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee, unless governmental guidance mandates cancellation or non-attendance.
Accommodations
A block of rooms is being held for TRA Annual Meeting Event Guests for a special rate of $169/King & $189/Double (hotel/city/state tax not included) until September 15, 2020. Call hotel reservations direct for special rate.

Transportation
Registrants will be required to use TRA provided busses to get on and off all military bases which includes the National War College for the Symposium and the U.S. Naval Museum for the Saturday evening Gala Cocktail Reception. The only exception will be if the Registrant has a valid military ID.
Friday Morning Activity
There will be no transportation provided for the Full Package/Friday Morning Optional Tours. Registrants can use public transit and/or Uber/Lyft to their selected location. Tours begin at 9:00 AM and will last approximately 1 hour. You must be back at the Host Hotel by 11:30 AM to board busses to Symposium. Lunch prior to the Symposium is on your own; suggestions will be provided.
Registration Packets
Name badge/registration packets will be available for pickup at the front desk at the Residence Inn and at Roosevelt Hall at Fort Leslie J. McNair.
Attire
Symposium: Casual
Gala Cocktail Reception: Business attire with jacket and tie. Appropriate uniforms may also be worn.
