Stanton H. Hudson, Jr. was first elected to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site’s Board of Trustees in 1994. He went on to chair numerous committees and hold a variety of leadership roles, including Board President. When the TR Inaugural NHS began searching for a new Executive Director at the end of 2013, he resigned his position on the Board to, in the spirit of Theodore Roosevelt, “throw his hat in the ring.” Since transitioning from volunteer to staff, Stanton’s expertise in the areas of communications, public relations, advertising and fundraising has helped the TR NHS to reach new audiences, introduce a cutting-edge virtual reality tour, and complete an extensive, multi-year exterior repair/restoration project.
