Dr. William Dick, M.D. is a retired Indianapolis nephrologist. He attended John Carroll University, Cleveland, OH and Indiana University School of Medicine, graduating in 1966.

He served an internship, medical residency, and nephrology fellowship at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. In addition to private practice, Dr. Dick served as Director of the Methodist Hospital Nephrology Fellowship Program and the Metabolic Kidney Stone Clinic.

Dr. Dick has published and lectured nationally and internationally on multiple medical subjects. He is also an amateur historian who has written and lectured locally on a wide variety of medical and non-medical historical events and personalities including Theodore Roosevelt. His article on the historic Roosevelt surgery will appear in the 2024 summer issue of Traces a publication of the Indiana Historical Society Press.
