Guidelines for unsolicited Article Submission to the Theodore Roosevelt Association Journal

An author who would like to submit a manuscript for consideration should send three double-spaced printed copies to:

Also provide an electronic copy as an e-mail attachment addressed to wnt@bu.edu.

(Please hit the space bar twice between sentences.)  Notes should be rendered as endnotes modeled on those appearing in recent issues of the TRA Journal (which are structured in accordance with the specifications of The Chicago Manual of Style, slightly modified). Be certain to verify the reliability of any Internet sources utilized. Submissions accepted for publication may be edited for style and length.

The Theodore Roosevelt Association Journal, a quarterly publication of the Theodore Roosevelt Association established in 1975 by Dr. John A. Gable and edited by him through 2004, is a peer-reviewed journal. Every unsolicited manuscript that the editor determines to be worthy of consideration is assigned to an expert external evaluator in a process known as double-blind review. The manuscript will then be published if it receives a favorable assessment from the external evaluator and will not be published if it is evaluated unfavorably. (Please note: The timing of the publication of an accepted manuscript depends on various factors and is at the discretion of the editor.)
